Meet our New Foundation Board Member-Mary McDermott
Mary McDermott is Senior Vice President, Legal and Regulatory Affairs at Ntelos, where she serves as counsel for all Ntelos’ operations and heads up the company’s regulatory efforts. Ms. McDermott has been a telecom lawyer for over 27 years. Her career includes twelve years with NYNEX (a company now part of Verizon) as well as six years with telecom trade associations. Her association experience included the United States Telecom Association (USTA) and the Personal Communications Industry Association (PCIA). She then served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Pathnet, a start-up telecom company focused on bringing broadband services to second and third tier U.S. communities throughout the U.S. Ms. McDermott lives in Waynesboro with her husband and two daughters.
