Activate Your Student Account

1. Go to MY BRCC (https://br.my.vccs.edu)
2. Click on the “Look up your username and set your password” link and follow the prompts.
3. Make a note of your student ID number (EMPLID) for future reference.
4. Log in when prompted.

GMail

Check your Gmail account first for messages from BRCC.  All email from faculty and staff will be sent to your Gmail account so check it often.

VCCS SIS8.9 Student Information System (SIS)

Here’s where you can view your schedule, enroll in classes and pay your tuition.  Later, you will check grades, view your transcripts, etc.

Blackboard 8

Instructors use Blackboard to provide class materials and instructions.  Any classes that use Blackboard will appear on your Blackboard course menu on the first day of classes.

Wireless Access

You will also need your student account to access the wireless network on campus.
