Legislative Visits
Pulling into the BRCC parking lot at 6:30 in the morning isn’t a common occurrence for most students. However, twice so far this year groups of Blue Ridge students, accompanied by staff and board members, did just that. They started their day bright and early to make the trip to Richmond to visit with local legislators, sharing their stories about the importance of the College and asking them to advocate for legislation favoring the community college system, and higher education in general.
