Item removed from Blue Cafe

While reviewing video surveillance footage related another issues, three unknown individuals (1 female and 2 male) were observed in the Student Center Cafeteria. One male opened the Blue Café beverage cooler and removed a bottle and all three immediately left the vicinity of Blue Café without approaching the Cashiers area.

Inappropriate Conduct

A female student reported that a male student performed a graphic rap song directed at her in front of several other students. The contents were described as sexually explicit. The female student was advised to report the incident to local law enforcement agency and the male student’s behavior reviewed using the BRCC student disciplinary process.

Physical Altercation

A female student reported that a male student and former boyfriend grabbed her arm and pushed her against an outside freezer behind the Student Center. Female student was advised to report the incident to local law enforcement agency and the male student’s behavior reviewed using the BRCC student disciplinary process.

Inappropriate Conduct

A male student reported that he was being harassed on the BRCC Weyers Cave main campus by former girlfriend who is not a student. BRCC Public Safety Officers approached female and informed her that the appropriate behavior could not continue. She demonstrated verbal and physical disrespect to the Safety Officers and was instructed to leave campus or she would be charged with trespassing. A subsequent Trespass Notice was sent.

Building Graffiti

Two symbols observed and reported by BRCC Public Safety Officer on the rear Northwest side of the building hosting the BRCC Harrisonburg. These were reported to the Harrisonburg Police Department and subsequently removed.
