Description:
At 6:40 p.m. security received a call from the alarm company that an alarm was sounding in the bookstore. Fire departments from Weyers Cave, Grottoes and Bridgewater responded. It was discovered a heat sensor had caused the alarm to sound. Since Security has keys only to the front door, the bookstore manager was called. Weyers Cave fire chief, Mr. Wrenn, suggested that security patrol the buildings every 15 minutes since the alarms were inactive until they could be re-set.
