On September 25, 2014 at approximately 1:00 PM, Public Safety Officers were called to the Blue Café regarding a verbal conflict between. Upon arrival, officers were told that one staff member had left and the issue was being addressed with the business owner.
On September 10, 2014 at approximately 9:15 PM, Public Safety Officers observed a vehicle shining spotlights on the T and V Buildings. Investigation revealed the individual as a missing person and the local agency with jurisdiction arrived on campus and resolved the issue.
On September 10, 2014 at approximately 5:05 PM, a female student reported that she was being followed by a male student. Public Safety Officers interviewed male student who stated he only wanted to say “Hi”. The officers explained proper behaviors and protocols for approaching others.
On September 9, 2014 at approximately 2:50 PM, a cafeteria employee reported that inappropriate comments had been directed at them by two students. Public Safety Officers informed all parties that “hurtful” terms and inappropriate language are not tolerated by BRCC and future incidents will lead to possible disciplinary action.
On September 2, 2014, a vehicle crash occurred in the T Building overflow parking lot. Public Safety Officers assisted drivers with exchange of insurance information and identification.
