Hunger Walk-Wednesday, October 26th 2-7pm…
The walk will begin in the front of Armstrong Hall and the route will be marked around the perimeter of the campus. We are asking for clubs to form teams to participate in the walk and for each team to wear their club shirts. Teams will be made up of 6 members. Clubs can sponsor more than one team if they like. The ENTRY FEE for the walk is $30 per team OR a bag of at least 5 non-perishable food items PER team member (ex. One team of 6 would donate 6 bags of non-perishable food items). Prizes will be given to teams that meet certain criteria such as 1) the club that enters the most teams…you can have Team A, Team B, etc. 2) the club/team that walks the most hours during the walk 3) the club/team that gets the most sponsor donations for them to walk 4) the club/team that donates the most bags of food during the walk. There will also be random door prizes given to team members that sign up. We would like to encourage each club to participate and form at least one team to walk during the Hunger Walk time period, 2 – 7pm. At the conclusion of the walk, the SGA will be sponsoring a celebration party with music, pizza, and fun! Deadline to enter team application for the walk will be Oct. 14th and money is due at this time.
Harvest Carnival- Thursday, October 20th 11-3pm
There will be several games for everyone to enjoy.
