Our practice is currently seeking a dynamic and confident Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our already exceptional team of veterinary professionals. Candidates must be willing to become dedicated to providing excellent patient and client care. Our clinic is fully equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, EKG, digital dental radiography, therapeutic laser and more. We utilize our technicians to the maximum.

Our hospital is open Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Availability to work on Saturdays is a must. The right candidate will be able to perform basic veterinary medical procedures such as:
- Take blood and place IV catheters
- Perform laboratory test – CBC, chemistry, urinalysis, fecal flotation, ear cytology, etc.
- Monitor anesthesia and assist and assist in surgeries
- Blood pressure monitoring
- Perform dental cleanings
- Care for hospitalized patients and administer medications
- Taking radiographs
LVTs will uphold client relations by admitting and discharging patients, effectively communicating animal care instructions to clients, and educating clients on needed treatments and procedures. They maintain accurate medical records of treatments, procedures, and communications with owners and referring veterinarians. LVTs will be expected to maintain a leadership role by supervising and training veterinary assistants and kennel assistants. This position also requires a practical knowledge of the hospital’s procedures, policies and services, client and patient treatment protocols, and terminology used in the veterinary hospital.
Additional salary information: Commensurate with experience.
