Busy, state-of-the-art small animal veterinary hospital has an immediate opening for a Virginia Licensed Veterinary Technician to grow with our hospital.  Successful candidate must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to multi-task effectively.  Must be able to lift 35#, efficiently maintain accurate and legible records and logs, be proficient in surgical induction, monitoring, and recovery, sterile surgical prep, radiologic positioning, drug calculations and dosing,venipuncture, catheter placement, dental cleanings, and in-house lab testing.  We are looking for a team member whois professional in attitude and attire with the ability to supervise effectively.  Chesapeake is a family-oriented community located 20 minutes from the beach, 1 hour from the Outer Banks, and 3 hours from the mountains.  We offer a high quality veterinary medicine in a relaxed, family environment.
