Kennel, Maurertown, VA

Posted by on Oct 31 2012 | Jobs

I am looking for a good part-time, flexible hours assistant to work with my dogs in my kennel.  I raise Saint Bernards and am in need of a person interested in working with animals.  I thought perhaps your Vet Tech program may have a student who would be interested in working in such a position.  I pay more than minimum wage and am more than willing to work around a student’s schedule.

Primarily the work would be kennel maintenance and basic grooming.  Occasionally I have a litter of puppies that would allow a student the opportunity to assist in deliver and care of new born puppies as well as care for an expectant/new mom.  I also have other medical conditions which crop up that would be a learning opportunity.

My kennel is located in Maurertown, VA, just a few miles north of Woodstock.

If you are interested in this position contact Jennifer Hanger.
