Panelists: Larry Zippin, CEO of the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank, Cliff Gilchrest, Chair, Bath County Board of Supervisors, member-Bath County Department of Social Services Board, & member of the Hunger Response Team; Pastor Sam Montanez, works with Hope Distributed, Harrisonburg First Church of the Nazarene Food Pantry

12:15-2 p.m.: Salad Bar Fundraiser, P126C (sponsored by the SGA)

Wednesday, October 24

11 a.m.-noon: Film and discussion “30 Days on Minimum Wage”, P104 (sponsored by PTK)

1-6 p.m.: Hunger Walk Fundraiser, campus perimeter (sponsored by SGA)

Thursday, October 25

12:30-1:45 p.m.: Experiential Hunger Simulation,P126
What is it like to not be able to afford food?  Come observe a simulation. (Sponsored by SIFE)

6 p.m.:  Empty Bowl Dinner Fundraiser,  P126, $15 minimum donation  (sponsored by SIFE)

Friday, October 26

7:30 p.m.: Tom Paxton Benefit Concert, Blackbox Theater, $20 minimum donation
Come listen to a wonderful evening of folk music.

Exhibits and Donations

• ABG business honor society will sponsor exhibits across campus.
  Learn about hunger and food issues at various campus locations.
• Collection bins for donated food will be available across campus.
• Monetary donations can be given to Dr. John Downey at anytime.
